UV lamp UV light intensity directly affects the curing time of UV ink, which is also the key influence factor of the internal hardening of ink film.
When the UV light intensity becomes low, even by increasing the exposure time to increase the cumulative amount of light, can not improve the hardness of the ink film, so more than the actual service life of the UV lamp can not make UV ink completely cured.
Usually, UV equipment are equipped with UV lamp tube use timing device, the actual service life of imported UV lamp tube is about 1000 hours, the actual service life of domestic UV lamp tube is about 600 hours. In order to ensure the curing quality of UV ink, UV lamp in the actual service life should be replaced in a timely manner.
Second, if the ink contains impurities or the dust attached on the surface of UV lamp, in the process of production will be less UV light intensity, thus greatly reduce the curing quality of UV ink, UV lamp to use after a period of time, therefore, should be removed the light box, use clean soft cotton cloth dipped in the foot gently wipe the surface of UV lamp, anhydrous ethanol in place to ensure that its clean and bright.
Finally, the reflector inside the UV light box can concentrate 80% of the UV light on the printing, if the paper powder or dust attached to the reflector, will affect the effect of UV reflection. Therefore, in daily production, the reflector must be cleaned and maintained in time to maintain its best reflection Angle and reflection ability.
This work can be done at the same time as cleaning the UV lamp tube, namely using a clean soft cotton cloth dipped in sufficient anhydrous ethanol for cleaning.
During cleaning and maintenance, the reflector should be closed manually to check whether the closure state is intact. If necessary, the perfection of the closure device should also be checked. Generally, the closure device adopts pneumatic components, which can be used to detect the working state by electric eye or electromagnetic.
In addition, it is necessary to check the condition of the launch plate, once the reflector surface appears dark or uneven phenomenon, should be replaced in a timely manner.
